Basic Campaign Mechanics

This is an Amber Diceless RPG campaign using the following house rules:

  • PC’s are built using 125 points
  • Campaign Contributions are allowed up to 20 points, please speak with the GM to get approval.
  • All PC’s are guaranteed a Chaos ancestor (this is not the same as a Devotee) which will permit eventual acquisition of Logrus Mastery.
  • I recommend every PC take Shapeshifting and Logrus Mastery to start. It will not be required but PC’s that do not take it will miss out on some early story developments and may be forced to sit out a session or two.
  • If you want your PC to be able to take Pattern eventually, you need to purchase an Amber Devotee.
  • If you want to play an Amber oriented Pattern PC I will not forbid it but you need to work with the GM to make sure your concept will work with the campaign.
  • Each player needs to place their PC information on this site. In the public area feel free to only enter in the things that other PC’s should know (how you look, dress, first impressions, etc.) Private information (backgrounds, point distributions, etc.) will be contained in Player Secret areas of the Character Page. Contact the GM for help if needed.
